Our camphor wood cutting board has a durable, yet gentle density that won't damage your knives or cutlery. A unique coved finger groove extends around the entire perimeter to facilitate easy lifting and the beautiful natural grain is hand sanded and treated with a simple oil finish. Hand carved into a distinct hourglass shape and finished by skilled artisans from sustainable, fast growing Australian camphor laurel, so no two are exactly alike. Camphor Laurel trees are considered nuisance plants in Australia, where they are being actively eradicated to stop their encroachment on useful land. Each item in our Camphor Collection is made from solid Australian camphor.
