Waterproof Surface: Easy-to-clean 100% Polyethylene food grade waterproof surface. An environmentally friendly plastic, polyethylene is an excellent, non toxic alternative to the vinyl/PVC found in nearly all crib mattresses.

Firm Support: Features Air-Core^tm, a non-toxic environmentally friendly support layer made from food grade polyethylene. Air-Core is a network of closed cell air pockets that provide a firm and comfortable base without the toxic properties of polyurethane foam and the allergenic concerns of latex rubber

Non-Toxic Design: No vinyl, PVC, phthalates. No polyurethane foam. 100% wool and latex free.
